Please check out our website and listen to a few sermons to find out more about who we are as a chuch and what we believe, but there is no greater way to experience Northside Baptist Church than to come and visit with us. We invite you to join us for one of our Sunday School Share Groups at 9:15a.m. and to attend our Sunday Morning Worship Service which begins at 10:30a.m. We look forward to meeting you!
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We believe it is God’s design to build His church as a family composed of many different kinds of people. In the world, these differences often divide and separate people. The Gospel brings people together.
We believe that you will find our church to be friendly and inviting. The music is carefully selected to reflect the best in hymns and contemporary music that is God-centered and Christ exalting. Our singing is accompanied by a blend of guitars, piano and acoustic drums. Our emphasis is not on entertainment, but worship in Spirit and truth.
We believe that God speaks to us through his Word, so our worship times are centered around an exposition of the Bible that we hope you will find informative, transformative and applicable to your daily life.
We believe that children are a blessing from God and all ages are welcome to be in our Worship service. We have changing tables in both restrooms in our Worship center. We also have a quiet room just inside the vestible that you can take your children to if they need to move around. You can continue to watch and hear the sermon from there as well. For those that prefer to have their young children in the nursery, we do provide that option for children 3 and under as well. In the nursery area we have a nursing mothers room where you can continue to watch the service.
Upon arrival to our church, we have Ushers in our vestible that will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have.
OUR MISSION GOAL: “MERCY”
Our Mission Statement:
“Ministering God’s Mercy in Our World by Sharing Christ Under the Authority of God’s Word and By the Power of His Spirit, for the glory of God and the joy of all people.” (Acts 2:42,47)
A Mission Focused On Mercy:
The key word in our mission statement is MERCY: This word is found in Micah 6:8 which says, “He has told you, O man what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” We want to express our love for God’s mercy by becoming an expression of his grace and mercy in Christ through our church.
Missional: A holy worldliness through which we share Christ
Evangelism: Loving, leading and linking people to Christ and His Church
Renewal: God preserving His church by His truth, in unity, holiness and fruitfulness
Community: The presence and power of God made visible in the love and life of the church
Yahweh: The crucified and risen Christ at the center of our ministry
