We contribute a portion of our budget toward the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program, the Royal Palm Baptist Association, to support the Missionary Mark Patterson who works with Training Leaders International, the 9 Marks Ministry and the Founder's Ministry.
MISSIONS
TRAINING LEADERS INTERNATIONAL
We began supporting Mark Patterson & his family while they served the Lord in Honduras for almost 11 years. While in Honduras they served at Ministerios Evangelicos de Las Americas (MEDA) and had the joy of planting the first Bible teaching church in the remote village of El Buen Pastor.
In 2018 they returned back to the States to serve with Training Leaders International (TLI). TLI has a passion to train men around the world who have little or no access to good theological training. They train men how to faithfully study and preach the word of God so the church can grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe strongly in discipleship and the Biblical teaching of God's Word, so we continue to support Mark Patterson as he works with Training Leaders International.
MISSIONS
9 MARKS
9Marks is a Christian ministry founded in 1998 by Mark Dever, pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. It aims to build healthy churches by promoting nine essential marks: expositional preaching, biblical theology, gospel understanding, conversion, evangelism, church membership, discipline, discipleship, and leadership. 9Marks provides resources like books, articles, podcasts, and training to help church leaders implement these principles. The ministry focuses on cultivating congregations rooted in biblical doctrine and accountable leadership.
